Installation on a Car or Van With Side Rails
|
Straps for cars with roof rack should have 3 parts in each set:
- 1 Top Strap
- 1 Rack Short Strap
- 1 Rack Long Strap
Note: The rooftop carrier may sit between or rest over the side rails or
crossbars of the rack. The carrier is flexible and will adapt to the
space available.

1. Open Strap Bag Set
Open the two sets of straps and separate each individual strap. Each individual strap has it's own label on the bag.
2. Attach Straps to Rack
Attach the Rack Short Strap and the Rack Long Strap to the
side rails, threading each buckle through the loop
located on the opposite end of each strap.
3. Connect Half Buckles
Slide the half buckles of
the Rack Straps into the half buckles of the Top Strap until they
click. Repeat for the other strap.
Note: If the car is equipped with both side rails and crossbars, a second
pair of straps can be installed at right angles to the first pair,
passing under the same 4 strap guides.
